the super ignition

Audrey Lorea · June 9, 2026

Black-and-white photograph: a lone car on a desert highway driving toward a vast storm cloud with lightning.

the super ignitionleft us smoking,a brilliant flashthat burned us andthe sky clean

and left usrubbing the dustfrom our eyes, trying to figure outwhich dimensionwe just crash landed into.

the air feels different.

we are so tired, the kind of achethat comes after a holy fire, but there is so muchground to cover now.

so much vast, unbroken terrainwaiting below our feet.i want to trace every line, embrace every shiftinghorizon with you.

you look rightthrough the noiseand see me.

truly seen.stripped of the armor, and instead of running,

we are travelerstwo nomadswho finally stumbledinto the same dimension, realizing the mapwe’ve been drawingseparatelyis of the exact same world.

the engine is humming.ready.

go ahead and pack your bags?it’s about to be a wild fucking ride.
